My buddy Adam from Rank ‘Em just shot me an email with a quick update to their service. Here is the quick scoop:
Rank ‘em, which has been entirely bootstrapped since inception, updated its site with features such as YouTube playback of user ranked songs and similar artist recommendations. The site has also added incentive badges and improved share options.
Adam is very excited for the current updates.
“With thousands of contributing members in the existing Rank ‘em community, we’re on our way towards creating the ‘Wikipedia for Music Discovery.’ Nobody else is aggregating the overall fan sentiment like Rank ‘em.”
Rank ‘em has already worked with artists on a series of concerts with fan-influenced sets, and the site is looking forward to helping artists craft optimal, fan-selected “greatest hits” compilations.
I met Adam at the Atlantis Music Conference in Atlanta a few years back and I am super happy to see his vision coming to life. You can view a quick demo below and when you get a second, head on over to Rank ‘Em and rank some of your favorite music today (including some of your own, I won’t tell).
