		<description>Thanks for the comment Brian. I think there are shortcuts to make everything quicker - I call it hustle and not sleeping - but yes, you are basically right. Pay your dues, get your business and systems set up and keep working everyday to get your career to match your vision of your career.</description>

  I completely agree with you and your analogy to baseball (I&#039;m a big baseball fan as well) is great.  I think musicians have to realize all of this takes time and you have to know where you&#039;re starting from and take small steps to get to your big goals.  Like baseball (and music) if you keep practicing the basics and get good at them, then you can add the additional skills on top and keep practicing them too.
